Watched it for the first time last night, thought I should seeing how it was directed by Scorsese.
I liked it alright but I think I can sum up my impression in about a line or two: It reminds me of Scorsese trying to make up for his lost opportunity to direct "Clockers." And unfortunately, as a result the movie comes off as derivative of Spike Lee.
