Foreign Accent Syndrome

I'm sure my brother's already written about this in one of his many, many, many (and one more 'many') books, but I don't recall it, and plus, it's too funny not to mention again.

Apparently, one possible side effect of a brain injury is waking up with a completely new accent, completely foreign to where you've grown up. Consider:
In 2006 Linda Walker, 60, woke from a stroke to find that her Geordie accent had been transformed into a Jamaican one. At the time she said she was devastated.
I know, I know: "Anthony, this is no laughing matter." But really... it is.
